Kahakka Brewery bought a 1000L brewing system in 2018. The setup includes a 2-vessel brewhouse, hot and cold liquor tanks, 6 of 1000L fermenters, and two 1000L bright beer tanks. Designed for efficiency and flexibility, the system supports batch-to-batch consistency and multi-style brewing. MICET provided full process layout, installation guidance, and commissioning support. This project remains a strong reference for MICET’s equipment performance in the Nordic craft beer market.
Kahakka Brewery is a microbrewery based in Kokkola, Finland, dedicated to handcrafted, high-quality beers. Founded on the philosophy of “good beers for good moments,” its flagship Kahakka Pale Ale launched in 2017. The brewery’s portfolio includes West Coast IPA and Celebration DIPA. In 2021, Kahakka tripled its capacity by adding 3000L tanks.
